Trident also purchases new and second hand containers for its container trading division. This division mainly sells container equipment in Europe for its specific client base.
Trident sells standard 20-foot, 40-foot and 40-foot high cube dry cargo containers, but also special dry freight containers such as open top, flat-rack, pallet-wide and refrigerated marine containers.
Trident has an extensive network of depot facilities in all the main ports in Europe and strategic locations in Asia and the South Pacific to ensure customers can purchase containers with maximum flexibility and in a timely manner.

Containers are suitable for domestic storage purposes or for national or international transportation. Equipment will be delivered with a valid CSC plate certification in order to ensure safe transportation by train, vessel or truck.

Standard Containers dimensions (20 ft, 40 ft ,40 ft HC and 45 ft HCPW)
The American Malcolm P. McLean is considered the inventor of this mode of transport by using a container for the first time to avoid transshipments at ports. These containers were constructed according to American rules and were not adequate for European road transport. It took some years until the ISO standards for containers that are still valid to this day were introduced

Reefer Containers (20ft , 40ft, 45ft Reefer)
Reefer containers are special refrigerated containers. Their temperature can be adapted individually according to the goods in question. Our Reefer shipping containers have their own cooling system and get the necessary electricity from the vessel. To ensure a smooth transport without quality loss, the temperature is controlled before and regularly during the transit.

Flat Rack Containers (20ft and 40ft Flat Rack)
Flat racks are containers without sidewalls or a roof. They have vertical front sides. This way, bulky cargo with over dimensions – like big machinery parts – can be shipped. The cargo is fixed and lashed on the flat racks with belts and chains to ensure safe transit.

Open Top Containers (20 ft and 40 ft Open Top)
These containers have a tarpaulin instead of a hard roof. Goods that cannot be loaded through the doors of a Standard container can be stuffed through the top. In addition, cargoes with over height can be shipped in Open Top containers on board the sea ship.

Pallet Wide Containers (40 ft, 40 ft High Cube Pallet Wide, 45ft High Cube Pallet Wide Reefer)
Trident has a relatively large fleet of Pallet Wide containers. As you can guess from the name, these containers are adequate for shipping Euro-pallets because the interior dimensions are slightly wider than the dimensions of a Standard container.

Der 20 Fuß-Kühlcontainer ist ein spezieller Kühlcontainer. Der Kühlcontainer kann zum Kühlen und Einfrieren verwendet werden.
High Cube Reefer-Container
40 Fuß-Container
Kühlcontainer werden für den Transport von Lebensmitteln wie Gemüse, Fisch und Fleisch verwendet.
Flat Rack-Container
20 Fuß-Container
Der 20-Fuß-Flat-Rack-Container dient zum Transport sperriger und übergroßer Fracht. Flat Racks sind Versandcontainer ohne Seitenwände oder Dach.
